The March 9th deadline for registration is fast approaching and the seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please pass this along to any young women who may be interested in this valuable opportunity.

Movers and Shakers

Hello everyone,

I'm excited to be able to share a wealth of exciting links with you today. It's always great to see PHS alumni accomplishing great things, and these people are doing just that.

The first link I'm going to share with you belongs to Tameka "Meedy Meek" Navarro. She has a line of gorgeous, one of a kind, hand-crafted jewelry called Urban Ellegance. You can find more information about her work on the Urban Ellegance website and you can view some of her wonderful work in the two commercials below.

The second link I want to share with you is from screenwriter/filmmaker Robin Shenea Williams. The clip below if from her film True Life Story. You can find more information about the film from the website.

Last but certainly not least, are two videos from Reginald "Doethepaperboy" Thurman. I won't say much here because the music speaks for itself. You can find more videos from Doe on his blog.

Please share the links and support these artists in any way that you can.

Announcement

Classmates,
My heart is aching with every stroke of the keyboard. I am announcing the passing of my childhood friend, Valerie Lanier Joseph, who loss her battle with cancer this morning. Please pray for her family and especially her son, Christian, who is in his freshman year in college. Remember them all with cards, calls, letters, visits, etc. I will notify you as soon as I know about services. I hope you all will be there for her celebration -- that's what she would expect -- us to celebrate.

This message was sent by Johna Robinson Vazquez, President, on behalf of the PHS '81 Alumni.

Congratulations on your success, Larry!
